Fierce battles took place on the outskirts of Leningrad. Soviet troops tried to hold back the powerful onslaught of the enemy, stubbornly defending each line. While in an ambush, the heavy tank of Senior Lieutenant Z. Kolobanov destroyed a German tank column. Skillfully and courageously operating mechanics-drivers N. Nikiforov, N. Rodnikov, gun commander A. Usov, radio operator-machine gunner P. Kiselnikov were able to knock out 22 enemy tanks. Covering the retreat of his comrades, Marine Sergeant V. Veresov blew himself up and the Germans who surrounded him with the last grenade. The people of Leningrad displayed courage, heroism, and self-sacrifice. Near Vyborg, one survivor, the twice wounded gunner of the gun, Sergeant V. Nikolaev, fired. He did not leave the position until the enemy retreated. Private V. Merkelov, swimming across the river, burst into the trench of the taken aback by the Nazis, destroyed several Nazis and ensured the battalion's crossing. Sniper Private F. Smolyachkov destroyed 125 enemies in three months

Slide 22

Near the village of Strokovo, 7 sappers, led by junior lieutenant P. Firstov, held back the attacks of 20 enemy tanks and an infantry battalion all day. Soon the whole country learned about the feat of 28 Panfilov heroes, who at the cost of their lives stopped 50 German tanks at the Dubosekovo junction. Under Klin Sergeant V. Vasilkovsky closed the embrasure of the pillbox with his chest, at Volokolamsk his feat was repeated by Senior Sergeant S. Kulikov. In the area of Naro-Fominsk, the soldiers of the 33rd army of General M. Efremov stood to death. In these battles, the fighters of the 1st battalion of the 1287th rifle regiment of the 110th rifle division, headed by the battalion commissar N. Zaitsev, covered themselves with unfading glory. For almost two days, being surrounded in the area of a brick factory, they repelled the fierce attacks of the enemy. Machine gunner I. Urban only in one battle destroyed about 40 Nazis. Private Ya. Paderin, the father of six children, without hesitation, covered the enemy's firing point with his body, which threatened to disrupt the regiment's attack.

Slide 23

Snipers V. Zaitsev, A. Chekhov, V. Medvedev destroyed the Nazis with well-aimed shots (each had more than 200 of them, and the sniper A. Sashara had 299). Taisiya Patanina led her tank, in one battle she knocked out 3 enemy tanks, destroyed 2 cannons, a bunker and more than 80 Nazis. Here sailor Mikhail Panikakha, engulfed in flames, rushed to the enemy tank. It was impossible to defeat such people. In the battle near Prokhorovka, the tank's crew consisting of the guard of lieutenant V. Shalandin, guard of sergeants V. Kustov, P. Zelenin, V. Lekomtsev, knocking out several enemy tanks, rammed the "tiger" with their burning car. Tankmen junior lieutenant N. Berezhnoy and sergeant N. Shvets destroyed four heavy enemy tanks. Anti-aircraft gunner Sergeant Kalinin shot down 3 German planes. Remaining the only one alive from the calculation of the gun, Sergeant Ts. Raskovinsky shot 9 tanks and 3 vehicles with infantry. Until the last shell, the last gunner of the battery, gunner Skomorokhov, kept in position, and did not retreat before the enemy. Under enemy fire, A. Yegorov restored communications seven times. Private I. Vdovytchenko with a grenade rushed under the tank. The immortal exploits of the heroes of the fiery Kursk Bulge are inscribed in national history in golden letters.

Slide 24

On January 29, 1942, in one of the battles in the Novgorod region, machine guns immediately hit from three enemy bunkers. The closest to the bunkers were Sergeant I. Gerasimenko, privates A. Krasilov and L. Cheremnov, who understood that the enemy would need only a few minutes to destroy the platoon. Without saying a word, they rushed to the embrasures of the bunkers. The machine guns fell silent, the platoon continued the offensive. During the Great Patriotic War, 8 similar group feats were performed. The feat of Alexander Matrosov, who closed the embrasure of the enemy bunker with his body on February 23, 1943, was repeated by more than 400 soldiers. And the first such a feat was accomplished by A. Pankratov, junior political instructor of a tank company on August 24, 1941, in a battle for the settlement of Spass-Nereditsa near Novgorod. Already on the first day of the Great Patriotic War, 20 of our pilots carried out air rams against German aircraft that had invaded the country's airspace. Among them were senior lieutenant I. Ivanov, junior lieutenant L. Butelin, lieutenant P. Ryabtsev, lieutenant S. Gudimov and others. The most famous feat of the bomber crew led by Captain N. Gastello. On June 26, 1941, this crew sent their burning plane to a column of enemy tanks, motor vehicles and petrol tanks. The crew was killed, but the enemy suffered heavy losses. On November 28, 1973, Captain Gennady Eliseev rammed an unmarked intruder on a MiG-21 interceptor aircraft near the southern border over the Caucasus. In the same place, on July 18, 1981, Captain Valentin Kulyapin shot down an unmarked military intruder by air ramming.

This date is timed to an outstanding event during the reign of Empress Catherine II, who in 1769 established the Order of St. George the Victorious. In 2007, at the initiative of the country's President Vladimir Putin, an amendment was made to the federal law of the Russian Federation "On Days of Military Glory and Memorable Dates of Russia", in accordance with which December 9 was established as the Day of Commemoration of the Heroes of the Fatherland.

Hero of the Russian Federation - a state award of the Russian Federation - a title awarded for services to the state and people associated with the performance of a heroic deed. The Hero of the Russian Federation is awarded a badge of special distinction - the Gold Star medal.

The first to be awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation was the head of the Lipetsk center for combat training and retraining of flight personnel, Major General of Aviation Sulambek Susarkulovich Oskanov. The high title was awarded to him by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 384 of April 11, 1992 (posthumously). When performing a flight mission on the MiG-29 on February 7, 1992, a technical failure occurred, and General Oskanov, at the cost of his life, prevented the plane from falling onto a settlement. SS Oskanov's widow was awarded the Gold Star medal No. 2, because the leadership of Russia decided that Hero of Russia No. 1 had to be alive.

The Gold Star medal No. 1 was awarded to the pilot-cosmonaut Sergei Konstantinovich Krikalev for performing a long space flight at the Mir orbital station. The title of Hero of the Russian Federation was awarded to him by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the same day (April 11, 1992), but by a later decree (No. 387).

According to available data, the total number of awardees (as of November 13, 2012) is 1000 people, of which 457 were awarded posthumously. Lists of citizens awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation, and most of the Decrees on awarding the title of Hero are not officially published.

Among those awarded the title there are cosmonauts, military personnel, participants in the Great Patriotic War and other hostilities, test pilots, athletes, scouts, scientists and many others.

Sergey Aleksandrovich Solnechnikov (August 19, 1980, Potsdam - March 28, 2012, Amur Region) was a Russian officer, major in the communications troops, who at the cost of his life saved his subordinate soldiers in the explosion of a combat grenade. Hero of the Russian Federation (2012).

On March 28, 2012, during a training exercise for a conscript soldier, 19-year-old private Maxim Zhuravlev unsuccessfully threw an RGD-5 grenade from a standing position. The ammunition hit the edge of the front parapet, enclosing the firing position, ricocheted and flew into the zone of destruction of colleagues. The major instantly realized what had happened, pushed the bewildered soldier away and covered himself with a grenade. An hour and a half later, the major died on the operating table from injuries incompatible with life.

On April 2, 2012, S. A. Solnechnikov was buried with military honors at the city cemetery No. 2 in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, where his parents and sister live. On April 3, 2012, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Major S. Solnechnikov was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously) for heroism, courage and dedication displayed in the performance of military duty.

On April 2, 2012, the Duma of Blagoveshchensk decided to name one of the streets of the new quarter of the city after Sergei Solnechnikov. On April 24, 2012, a memorial stele to Major Sergei Solnechnikov was unveiled in Belogorsk. On May 7, 2012 in Belogorsk, on the Walk of Fame, a plate with a star was installed in memory of the Hero of Russia Major Sergei Solnechnikov.

Major Sergei Solnechnikov accomplished his feat exactly ten years after the same feat of the Hero of Russia Sergeant S. A. Burnaev. On March 28, 2002, during a special operation in the city of Argun in the Chechen Republic, Sergei Burnaev covered a grenade thrown by militants with his body and died in the same way, protecting his comrades.

Andrey Alekseevich Turkin (October 21, 1975, Orsk, USSR - September 3, 2004, Beslan, North Ossetia-Alania, Russia) - officer of the "B" ("Pennant") Directorate of the Special Purpose Center of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation , a lieutenant who died while releasing hostages during the terrorist attack in Beslan. Posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

Together with the Vympel group, Turkin arrived in the city of Beslan in the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, where on September 1, 2004, a group of 32 terrorists seized over a thousand children and adults in the building of school No. 1.

After explosions occurred on the third day in the gym, where most of the hostages were held, which caused a partial collapse of the roof and walls of the gym, the surviving people began to scatter. Andrey's assault group received an order to storm the building, as the militants opened fierce fire on the hostages. At the beginning of the assault, Turkin was wounded when he, as part of his unit, burst into the school building under heavy fire from militants, but did not withdraw from the battle.

Covering the rescue of the hostages with fire, Lieutenant Turkin personally destroyed one terrorist in the cafeteria, where the militants drove many of the hostages who survived the explosions in the gym. When another bandit threw a grenade into a crowd of people, Andrei Turkin covered them with his body, saving the hostages at the cost of his own life.

We shouted not to shoot that there were hostages here. Then the alphas knocked out the grate and jumped into the dining room. A militant named Ibrahim jumped up from behind the stove, threw a grenade shouting "Allah, Akbar". There was an explosion, my leg was shattered by a shrapnel. The Alpha member jumped on us and covered us with him. Then they began to save us. I didn’t see that my leg was bleeding, I tried to get up and felt that my leg fell under me. I fell, but I continued to crawl anyway. Then they pulled me out. (Nadezhda Badoeva, hostage rescued by Andrei Turkin.)

For courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special assignment by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 6, 2004, Lieutenant Turkin Andrey Alekseevich was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (medal No. 830).

Buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery in Moscow. In the homeland of the Hero in the city of Orsk in the Park of Heroes on the Walk of Fame, a bust of the Hero of Russia was installed. The name of the Hero of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant Andrei Turkin, was assigned to the cadet class of the Orsk cadet school No. 53. In the Krasnodar Territory, in the village of Dinskaya, the secondary school No. 1 bears his name. There is also a memorial plaque installed in front of the school entrance. In the city of Krasnodar, on the building of the Academy of Marketing and Social and Information Technologies (IMSIT), where Andrei Turkin studied, a memorial plaque was erected in memory of the hero's deed.

Heroes are not born, they become heroes in the hour of testing. About exploits - they compose poems. About fame - songs are created. "Heroes never die, Heroes live in our memory!"

Hero of the Russian Federation State award of the Russian Federation is the highest title awarded for services to the state and people associated with the accomplishment of a heroic deed. The Hero of the Russian Federation is awarded a special distinction, the Gold Star medal.

The Gold Star medal 1 was awarded to the pilot-cosmonaut Sergei Konstantinovich Krikalev for performing a long space flight at the Mir orbital station. The title of Hero of the Russian Federation was awarded to him by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on April 11, 1992, decree 387

Since ancient times, we have been interested in heroic deeds. Even in Ancient Russia, epics were dedicated to a person who accomplished a feat, monuments were erected, and forever inscribed in history. The stories about the heroes raised the fighting spirit of the warriors before the battle, motivated even little boys to become just as brave and valiant. In our cities there are streets dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, museums telling about great battles. But heroic deeds can be performed in peacetime as well.

Some researchers consider the prototype of the epic character to be a historical character, a strong man nicknamed "Chobitok", a native of Murom, who took monastic vows in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra with the name Elijah, and canonized in 1643 as "Venerable Elijah of Muromets." The theory of the identity of the epic hero with the monk Chobitko, Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is quite plausible. Russian chronicles do not mention his name. After a miraculous healing, he converts to Orthodoxy and chooses a new name for himself, Ilya.

Russian naval commander, admiral (1799), commander of the Black Sea Fleet (). In 2001, Theodor Ushakov was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church as a righteous warrior.

During the Russian - Turkish war, FF Ushakov made a significant contribution to the development of the tactics of the sailing fleet. Contrary to the prevailing rules, Ushakov put his ship forward, encouraging his commanders with his own courage. He was distinguished by a quick assessment of the combat situation, an accurate calculation of all factors of success and a decisive attack. Admiral FF Ushakov can rightfully be considered the founder of the Russian tactical school in naval affairs.

Five thousand Russian volunteers went to the aid of the fraternal Slavic peoples. Kochetkov again persuaded the tsar to let him go to war. "Serving" in his 92 years fought in the forefront, dragging volunteers with him. In the Russian - Turkish war, 93 - year - old Kochetkov fought on Shipka, where he lost his left leg from a bomb explosion. He survived and still served in the Life Guards Horse Artillery Brigade and lived to be 107 years old. Vasily Nikolaevich Kochetkov died on May 31, 1892 in Vyborg.

During the Great Patriotic War, not only strong, healthy warriors volunteered for the front, but also people, often completely unfit for battle, never holding weapons in their hands. They were teachers, writers, artists, yesterday's schoolchildren ...

It must be remembered: there is always room for feat! Patriots and citizens of their country are not born, they become. And we have someone to look up to! We have where to take landmarks at the beginning of the journey! People can commit civil acts and not in emergency circumstances. It all depends on the person himself, his civic position, on the desire to direct his abilities not only for his own benefit, but also for the benefit of other people. We choose our own path.

A third-grade student from Tomsk, Katya Rud, has already been recognized as the "Siberian of 2011" for her feat. Recently in Moscow, she was awarded the International Children's Prize "Adoration", which is awarded to children for heroic deeds. The story that made Katya famous took place on December 1, 2011. The parents were not at home - the nine-year-old girl was alone with her three younger brothers. For some unknown reason, a fire broke out in the apartment. The smoke from the window on the first floor was noticed by passers-by who called the firefighters. Fortunately, the taxi driver Alexander Okonechnikov turned out to be near the house that day. He went up the bars to the window and shouted to the girl to jump to him. Katya refused to leave her brothers. In turn, she began to transfer boys to Alexander: first, a two-year-old toddler with a broken leg in a cast, then the rest of four-year-old boys. Only after that did the girl get out on her own. Later, according to the results of voting on the Internet, Katya Rud was recognized as the "Siberian of 2011", having received 3,100 votes of support, ahead of the other six laureates.

Dmitry Bulgakov Shkolnik from Artyom single-handedly rescued drowning children in North Korea “If I were in my place, everyone would do that” - we often hear similar words from heroes. But in reality it happens that adults, healthy people are not able to do what the situation requires. But in these seconds the fate of people can be decided. Therefore, there is no time for reflection. Dmitry Bulgakov understands this for sure, single-handedly rescuing drowning children in a camp in North Korea.

Slide 6

In the summer, Dmitry Bulgakov rested at an international children's camp in the DPRK. The guy was sent abroad by his mother Marina Bulgakova, who works in the police in the city of Artem in the Primorsky Territory.

Slide 7

Almost every day there were some kind of competitions in the camp. And once a rowing competition was organized. The children took part with joy and took turns competing in speed on the river. Everyone, without exception, wanted to try their hand: even those who could not swim agreed to participate. However, the counselors neglected the safety requirements: they did not give the children life jackets, which are mandatory for this sport. Dmitry stood on the shore and waited for his turn to board the boat. Suddenly he noticed that several boats began to overturn, and the children from China in them began to drown. “The river is deep, the water is muddy, and the bottom is muddy. Chinese children began to drown right in front of my eyes, ”recalls Dmitry.

Slide 8

Slide 9

When the disaster struck, the instructors who were nearby did not even move. Their inaction defies explanation - they either did not see what was really happening, or they were shocked and did not know what to do. The guy, without hesitation, bent down in the entrance and began to sleep the drowning children. It was thanks to Dima's quick and precise actions that all the children were saved. At the age of 16, a student of the municipal gymnasium of the city of Artem was awarded many medals. He has a sports category in "Kyokushinkai karate-do" and many certificates for sports achievements. However, the most significant reward for him now stands in the main place in his room. What is written on it is Dima's pride - "Gratitude from the leadership of the international camp of North Korea for saving the drowning."

Slide 10

Alexey Titov During the explosions at the Donguz training ground in the Orenburg region, an officer saved a hundred soldiers.

Slide 11

The officer at all times was the person for whom honor and duty are far from empty words. "A real officer must ..." and the list can be arbitrarily long, including a list of moral and volitional qualities and even a joke. What will come first on this list? Any soldier will say that a real officer should, above all, value the life of his subordinates.

Slide 12

The 26-year-old commander was in charge of the unloading of ammunition when the harsh smoke began. The soldiers failed to put out the fire on their own. Alexey ordered the personnel to urgently leave the danger zone. After removing the subordinates from the warehouse, the officer returned to help the firefighters on duty at the range to cope with the emergency. But already some kind of ammunition exploded, a chain reaction started, it was impossible to cope with the fire. When it became obvious that all attempts were in vain, Titov gave the order to the firemen to retreat and he himself also began to get out of the epicenter. Suddenly, Alexei was hit by a shell fragment and lost consciousness. When he woke up, ammunition exploded around him, and everything was engulfed in fire. The senior lieutenant realized that the only chance of escape was shelter.

Slide 13

As Titov later said, he remembered that there was a cistern nearby, and crawled towards it. The water inside was waist-deep, and the officer was hiding at the far end. The debris of another explosion blocked the entrance, and Alexei had to disassemble the blockage with his hands in order to get out. The reports emphasized that all attempts had been made to ensure the safety of the personnel: “At present, the entire personnel is present. Only Senior Lieutenant Alexei Titov was not found, the search for which continues. " The commander was considered missing for eight hours. Sappers and medics could not get close to the place of emergency. It seemed that in the epicenter of 4 tons of exploding shells, there was practically no chance of surviving.

Slide 14

When Alexei got out of hiding, he, exhausted, was noticed from a helicopter. Doctors assessed the officer's condition as satisfactory, there is no threat to his life and health.

Slide 15

Slide 16

Destroyer Bystry was preparing for a military campaign from Fokino to Kamchatka. All three hundred crew members were on board. The commanders gave their last orders. And suddenly the fuel line of the power plant burst in the engine room. The fuel burst out under tremendous pressure. A spark appeared - and instantly a fire broke out.

Slide 17

Aldar Tsydenzhapov, a nineteen-year-old driver of the boiler-house team, got his bearings instantly. Realizing that in a second the ship would take off into the air, Aldar threw himself into the very heat to cut off the fuel and prevent the explosion. Clothes on the guy burned and melted, there was nothing to breathe, but he continued to turn the valve. The sailor began to climb out of the compartment only when the flames diminished. It's amazing how he managed not to lose consciousness at that moment. Later, doctors found that the sailor had a burn of 100 percent of the body surface. Aldar was taken to the hospital in a grave condition. Doctors fought for his life for four days. Until recently, they hoped that everything would be okay. But on September 28, 2010, Aldar Tsydenzhapov died. Before demobilization, he did not live a month. Each boiler in the hold where the fire broke out produces 115 tons of steam per hour at a temperature of 470 degrees. Plus there is tremendous pressure. If it had exploded, only a few would have survived. By decision of the command, Tsydenzhapov was posthumously nominated for a state award. In November 2010, Alzhar was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

Slide 18

Alexander Vozzhennikov 17-year-old hockey player Alexander Vozzhennikov saved people during a terrible car accident.

Slide 19

The accident of the Setra passenger bus en route Perm-Yekaterinburg-Chelyabinsk-Kurgan occurred on the morning of October 10, 2012 in the Kurgan region. Near the village of Medvedskoye, a MAN truck crashed into the bus. “When a large truck crashed into the bus, in which the young athlete and 11 other people were traveling, at high speed, Kurgan was only three hours away. from the crashed bus 12 injured passengers and the driver who died before the ambulance arrived. Alexander Grigoriev When the elements surround from all sides, and a person becomes powerless against it, it remains to hope only for a miracle. Such a miracle happened in the Tomsk region, where helicopter pilot Alexander Grigoriev rescued three mushroom pickers who were surrounded by a forest fire.

Slide 22

By that time, the forests had been burning for several months. Local residents were warned of the danger, but many underestimated the scale of the disaster. A married couple with a 20-year-old son decided to go to the forest for berries. They got carried away with picking blueberries, went deep into the taiga and got lost. After spending the night in the open air, people thought that in the morning they would be able to find their way back, not even assuming then that they would spend five days in the forest. Realizing that they would not be able to get out of the forest on their own, the family hoped only for help from the air. The flames of a forest fire were raging around, and even knowing the route, no one could safely get out. All these five days, people ate berries and cone broth, already beginning to lose hope.

Slide 23

They laid out the word SOS from the trunks of birches at the edge of the forest, and all they had to do was wait until someone noticed a distress signal from the air. At that time, Be-200 amphibious aircraft were working over the fire zone, which dumped water onto the burning forest. One of the pilots saw the signal and asked the pilot of the Mi-26 helicopter, who was nearby, to check and find out what was happening. Helicopter pilot Alexander Grigoriev saw that the fire was beginning to get close to the people and surrounded the clearing in a dense ring. It was necessary to act decisively and quickly. There was very little room for a vehicle like the Mi-26 to land. In addition, when lowering, the blades could touch the crowns of trees, and then there would be more victims in this tragedy. The pilot took the risk. Having chosen a landing site, Alexander Grigoriev landed with pinpoint precision. As the hero's colleagues later admitted, the huge experience of piloting equipment and years of work in emergency zones affected. The family was saved. The exhausted people were taken to the Bogashevo airport by the same helicopter.
