As a result, a window will open "Code Constructor" with a step-by-step wizard for selecting, setting up advertisements and obtaining the resulting code, which you then place in the right place in the template or page of your project.
At the first step, you choose the format - whether these will be ads taken from Yandex Direct (in it) or whether it will be advertising. Usually they choose Direct, Market is good only for online store sites or projects with reviews of any goods.
On one page you can place no more than 9 ads, and the number of blocks is not regulated. The rest of the ads (in excess of the set limit) will simply not be shown.
Now click the "Next" button and go to the block type selection page. The choice is very rich. As you work with YAN, you will probably try a lot of different options for contextual advertising ads until you find the best option for your resource.
Therefore, here I am not giving any advice on which type is best to choose (although many tend to think that the Flat block has some advantage in many cases). Have a look at other projects that show YAN and you may have some ideas about placing ads on your website.
The selection process itself consists of two steps - first, in the "Select block type" area, you click on one of the types (you can see the appearance in the figure on the right), and then in the area below you set the number of ads in the block or select the size of the fixed block.
These settings that you made on the Profit Partner service can be changed directly in the code on the site, simply by substituting other parameters in the right place. But more on that later. Click the "Next" button. On the next page "Block design" you can make more fine-tuning.
Customizing the appearance of blocks in Profit Partner
Depending on the type of block with ads, it will be possible to change the color of the ad title, text color, set the desired shade of the background and frame, as well as links to the advertiser's website or the link of the ad title when you hover over it with the mouse. In general, there are a lot of opportunities for customizing the appearance. In addition, you must be sure to use on your project.
In order to go to the detailed settings for the appearance of ad units, you need to click on the link “customize yourself”.
You can change the color of any block element by clicking on the box with the current color of this element and selecting the desired color from the palette that opens.
But you can immediately insert the desired Html color code () into the field opposite the design element name. This Html code of the desired shade can be taken, for example, using the already existing design of any resource you like with the help of programs that can capture it from the screen (see the previous link).
In order to copy the settings of an existing block of ads, the appearance of which suits you, you can click on the link "import layout" and paste into the opened form the code of the block, the design of which you successfully use and want to copy.
From this code, all parameters responsible for the appearance will be automatically extracted. You can also set a non-uniform background for advertisements using the link "set gradient".
In this case, the background color will smoothly flow from one to another. After clicking on the “set gradient” link in the settings window in the “Block background” area, it will be possible to set the second color and their order.
At the bottom of the ad unit appearance settings page, you can see in real time all the changes you make, which greatly increases the visibility of the changes you make. After making all the necessary settings, you click on the "Next" button and as a result you get to the page "Get Code".
On this page, copy the received code. Now you can paste it in the right place of your website template and it will become available for viewing by visitors. The block may appear on your resource with some delay. So don't worry about what you did wrong.
