The registration of candidates participating in the gubernatorial elections has ended in the Primorsky Territory. According to the VTsIOM poll, the most famous among the candidates is Oleg Kozhemyako, acting governor of the region: 83% said they knew him, 37% of respondents said they trusted him and another 17% declared their lack of confidence in the head of the region. The level of awareness of other candidates is significantly lower. Thus, 28% of survey participants know about Andrey Andreichenko, 26% know about Roza Chemeris, 15% know Igor Stepanenko, and 12% know about Alexey Timchenko. At the same time, the level of positive attitude towards these candidates does not exceed 6% of all respondents. According to the survey data, the level of declared support for Oleg Kozhemyako amounted to 46%, among those who are confident in their participation in the elections, this figure rises to 52%. Every tenth (10%) answered that he would vote for Andrey Andreichenko (12% among those who are definitely going to vote). The indicators of the rest are significantly lower - 6% of respondents are ready to vote for Roza Chemeris, 5% for Igor Stepanenko, and 2% for Alexei Timchenko.

The VTsIOM survey was conducted on November 28, 2018. The survey was commissioned by Competitor Publishing Company LLC. The survey involved residents of the Primorsky Territory aged 18 years and over. The survey method was a telephone interview based on a stratified, two-basic, random sample of fixed and mobile numbers of 800 respondents. The sample is based on complete list telephone numbers involved in the Primorsky Territory. The data are weighted by probability of selection and by socio-demographic parameters.
