How to draw up a receipt for receiving money?
It is better to compose in handwritten form (if there are disagreements, an examination of the handwriting can save the case).
The text is free, it should contain the following information:
- Full name of the parties, data on the passport (another document that can prove identity);
- the amount of funds in words with decoding in numbers;
- the reason for the transfer of money (purchase of goods, borrowing money, etc.);
- the time of the actual repayment of the loan (if the money is lent) and the amount of the interest rate (if a receipt is issued for the type of loan);
- place and date of compilation with autographs of both parties;
- data of witnesses, their autographs (if any).
From the point of view of the Law of the Russian Federation
The receipt does not have all the advantages that a loan agreement has (they are concluded by banks and microfinance organizations), but it is legitimate, i.e. used as evidence in lawsuits.
To give more weight, it is necessary to draw up a document in the presence of several disinterested witnesses and notarize.
How to properly issue a cash receipt?
It is recommended to check the signatures of the parties with the autographs in the passport. If they do not match, the paper will most likely lose its validity. But this action will be redundant if the document is certified by a notary, since notary offices themselves certify the fact that the contract was signed by these citizens.
