Drawing up a receipt confirming the receipt of funds in the modern world is perhaps the most common occurrence. However, the Civil Code of the Russian Federation mentions this document only in passing. We will talk about the legal significance of a receipt, how to draw it up correctly, in the article.

Legal force

This issue is quite controversial. It’s worth starting with how to write a receipt correctly. This can be done in two ways: a simple written form and a notarized one. If later it becomes necessary to prove that the document was signed by exactly those persons indicated in it, then the second method simplifies the task. In the first case, it is also possible to prove this legal fact, but it may take a little longer.

Turning to Article 808 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, we see that a receipt is a document provided to confirm a loan agreement, but in no case does it replace it. Its conclusion in the usual written form, without the services of a notary, is an action sufficient to give the paper legal force.

How to write a receipt?

When compiling this document, it is necessary to pay attention to the correctness of filling in the information about the lender and the borrower. Be sure to include the following information:

  • full name;
  • passport details:
  • date and year of birth;
  • address by registration and actual place of residence.

Then the amount of the loan received is indicated, it would be best if you indicate it not only in numbers, but also in words. It is relevant to mention that if the loan amount is indicated in a foreign currency (euro, dollars, etc.), it is recommended to prescribe the rate according to which the money will be returned. Be sure to include percentages, if applicable. Important and obligatory is the point on the terms in which the borrowed money must be returned. Registration of a notary's receipt

This option has its advantages and disadvantages:

  • the authenticity of the document will be confirmed by the signature of a notary;
  • the specialist will offer you his sample if you find it difficult to draw up a document yourself;
  • additional costs for notary services and time.

There is no legal requirement for such an assurance.

How to write a receipt for receiving alimony: sample

If the divorce between spouses proceeds peacefully with a civilized approach to the current situation, then the payment of alimony is assumed to be voluntary.
