How to glue false eyelashes in bunches: extension technology

How to glue tuft eyelashes and can it be done at home. As it turns out - easily. Unlike the eyelash method, the beam technology is much easier to implement and the extension procedure takes much less time. However, as with any work with the face, accuracy and attention are required here.

Extension technology

The fundamental difference in eyelash extensions is not even the material itself - a ribbon, a bunch, a single hair, but the method of attachment.

  • Eyelash method involves fixing 1, 2, 3 or more hairs on each natural eyelash. The product is attached to the hair, and not to the skin, at some distance from the edge of the eyelid.
  • tape technology, on the contrary, it involves attachment only to the skin: the entire set of cilia is fixed exactly along the ciliary edge. This method does not involve long-term fastening, a maximum of a day. But false eyelashes can be used more than once.

  • The beam method occupies a middle position. The blunt tip of the bundle is glued to the skin, as close as possible to the hairline. But the product will be held much better if the beam is also fixed on a hair.

This combination is a ready-made bundle and a simple fixation method, and makes this method the best for eyelash extensions for yourself.

Bundle eyelashes

They are hairs collected in a bundle, usually 10 pieces each. The cilia are attached to each other at the base, forming a relatively thick, blunt tip. The bundles are made of different lengths, varying degrees of fluffiness, from hairs with different bends, and so on.

The big advantage of this solution is that the bundles can be independently selected in length and volume. So, to emphasize the cut of the eyes, thick long hairs are fixed in the corners. And in order to increase the volume of all eyelashes, bunches of different lengths are fixed - short at the inner corner, and long at the outer corner. In this way, a much more natural look is achieved than when using tape. The beams can be alternated in length: this edging of the eye makes the look radiant.

Eyelash bundles are of 2 types:

  • without nodules - the hairs are fastened so as to obtain a flat base. Such a model is fixed on the eyelashes, and not on the skin, so they are held somewhat worse. Remove them carefully so as not to injure your eyelashes. On the other hand, flat development turns out to be completely invisible to the eye, so there is no need to mask the attachment points with arrows;
  • nodular - at the base there is a nodule of a sufficiently large volume to be securely attached to the skin of the eyelid. This fixation is much stronger: the knot area is larger and the bundle can be fixed directly between natural eyelashes. They are very easy to put on and easy to remove. However, the knot is quite visible, so this option requires careful makeup.

The hairs are made from synthetic fibers. Natural ones often provoke allergies, so in fact, products made from silk or natural human hair are extremely rare. But the thickness of the hair in the bundle can be different. It is the thickness that is marked with such a figurative epithet as silk, sable, mink.

Decorative techniques

You can stick the bundles in different ways to get a different decorative effect.

  • Full volume - bundles can be attached along the entire ciliary edge. In this case, it is desirable to glue short eyelashes near the inner corner, and long - near the outer. This option looks the most natural.
  • A fox look is obtained by fixing a pair of long bunches in the very corner. The option is not suitable for a lowered eyelid, as it will emphasize this drawback. In the photo - fastening beams in the corners of the eye.
  • Squirrel - the beam is attached, stepping back a little from the edge to shift the focus.
  • Radiant look - the beams are fixed alternately: short, long, in order to visually "open" the eye.

For eyelash extensions at home, you will need the following:

  • bundles - are located, as a rule, in a special palette, from where they are easy to get;
  • tweezers - it is best to use a special one with curved tips;
  • special glue for building;
  • liquid eyeliner.

Materials and tools

Adhesive selection
Glue for tuft eyelashes is the second most important participant in the procedure. Given that the adhesive composition is in contact with the skin of the eyelid in close proximity to the mucosa, its safety and harmlessness should be given no less attention than water resistance and fixation speed.

Glue must be hypoallergenic. However, it should be noted that the higher its security, the lower the strength of the connection. Therefore, in fact, they resort to compromises: if the skin is not prone to inflammation and irritation, you can use a quick fix composition, for example. But with a tendency to allergies, you will have to prefer extension options designed for a short time.

Adhesives are classified according to consistency and drying speed.

  • A and B - have a rather thick consistency, do not seize immediately. Glue group A is hypoallergenic and is allowed when building even the lower eyelashes, if such a need arises. The second option is most suitable for beginners, as it freezes somewhat more slowly and allows you to adjust the position of the hair.
  • C - has an average consistency and an average drying time. The glue keeps the eyelash extensions up to 4 weeks.
  • D and C - has a liquid consistency, seizes quickly, so high precision is required during work.
  • "UltraSuperBonding" - an elastic composition. For centuries, it is practically not felt.
  • "Ultra Strong" - provides a very long-term result, up to 3 months.

The glue is available in black and transparent. When building in bunches, the first one is more often used, since colored hairs in this case are used extremely rarely.

Tips to help you grow your own eyelashes:

Sticking technology

It is not so difficult to build tuft eyelashes at home. Firstly, nodular ones, in principle, are attached to the skin, which greatly facilitates the matter, and secondly, the number of bundles is noticeably smaller compared to the number of products for eyelash extensions.

First of all, they prepare the workplace: they create fairly good lighting, lay out the beams in the order of gluing. Cosmetics are carefully removed with special means.

  • Degrease natural eyelashes and eyelid skin with a special tool. In no case should you wipe the skin with alcohol or an alcohol-containing tincture, since alcohol is very irritating to the eyes.

It is necessary to degrease: the hairs are covered with a natural grease, which is far from completely removed with a wash or warm water. In order for artificial hairs to hold tight, it is necessary to ensure sufficient adhesion between synthetic fibers and natural eyelashes, and this is precisely what fat prevents.

  • A drop of glue is placed on a glass plate or a piece of cardboard. Correctly squeezing out the glue is dosed at the rate of 4-5 beams: it dries pretty quickly.
  • The bundle is picked up with tweezers, dipped in glue with a blunt tip. If there is a lot of glue on the eyelashes, you need to wipe the excess on a napkin.
  • The bundle is glued as close as possible to the hairline or even between the eyelashes. Hold for a few seconds for the composition to seize. If knotless eyelashes are attached, then first the tip of the bundle is passed over the base eyelash to distribute the glue and hold the bundle so that it is in contact with both the skin and the eyelash.
  • It is advisable to start from the outer corner, since it is more difficult to glue here. The closer to the inner corner, the shorter the bundles need to be glued.

  • To accurately fix the beams in their place, for clarity, you can immediately draw an arrow on the eyelid and glue along this line. Thus, the hairs will be placed more evenly, and the attachment point will be masked.
  • After the end of the procedure, you can treat the eyelashes with a fixative.

Eyelash removal

False eyelashes should not be used for too long and often. Waiting for artificial hairs to peel off on their own is also unreasonable. It's pretty easy to unplug them yourself.

  • The skin of the eyelids is lubricated with a fat cream. The grease quickly dissolves the glue and the hair comes off easily.
  • Remove them with tweezers, each bundle separately. You need to pick up the hairs not at the tip, but closer to the base.
  • Synthetic eyelashes are washed with warm water, dried with a napkin and placed in a container for storage. The product can be used up to 5 times.
